Exposed is a visual metaphor for my rebirth from institutional clutches. I'm exposing myself to me, trying to see how I can stand on my own as artist without the support of an art school.
Exposed covers the idea of struggling as an emerging artist and feeling naked, but trying to find the strength to cover myself up. By doing that I'm trying to give off an illusion that I'm doing just fine and seeing if the saying of faking it until you make it can apply.
Of course this journey from this rebirth will take unexpected courses, but this is just the beginning and I'm willing to expose myself to others as well.
